Wrinkle Relaxers

Overview

Neuromodulators are injectable medications that temporarily relax targeted muscles by blocking nerve signals. In aesthetics, this softens dynamic wrinkles—the lines caused by repeated facial movement.
They’ve been used safely for decades in both medical and cosmetic settings.

What Areas Can Be Treated With Wrinkle Relaxers

Neuromodulators are ideal for movement-based lines, including: forehead lines, frown lines (11’s), crow’s feet, bunny lines, chin dimpling, lip flip, neck bands (platysma).

Benefits

Smoothing wrinkles

Prevent deeper lines from forming

Slim the jaw (masseter treatment)

Reduce teeth grinding (bruxism)

Help migraines, excessive sweating, TMJ

How Wrinkle Relaxers work

Neuromodulators work by blocking the signal of facial nerves releasing acetylcholine which causes muscles to contract. Since the neuromodulator blocks that signal muscles relax and the skin over the muscle smooths out. Wrinkles therefore soften, although you can still look expressive when dosed correctly.

Botox relaxes targeted facial muscles by blocking nerve signals, helping smooth wrinkles and prevent deeper lines while keeping natural expression. Effects appear gradually and typically last for three to four months
